Site Upgrades, Tara Dakides, and Eagerly Anticipating White Powder

July 17th, 2004
Slightly photochopped jump at AngelfireIf you’ve visited my site in the past, you’ve probably noticed many changes. Most recently, I rearranged the menu structure such that the about page is now the default page on the site while the most recent entry was moved to a secondary page. This was done to bring equal attention to my journal and the new GNews section. This section is just a collection of recent news about snowboarding gathered by the google news search engine. There are other minor additions planned for the site that include a wider variety of content. These additions are still months away.Meanwhile, I’m dreaming of snowboarding!I close my eyes and imagine all the things at the end of last season mixed with fantasies about things I have never had the nerve to try.

Before I end this entry, I want to give a shout out to Tara Dakides . For more than a decade she’s been turning heads, and it doesn’t take long to see why. (1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8) The more I read and learn about her, the more respect I have for her.

Soon it will be time to start planning my next trip. I am eager.
